"Highly recommend eating here for the standard of food, good menu variety, and kind, friendly staff. The view out the window is lovely too. Restaurant atmosphere is high standard feel, but also warm, inviting with a homely feel. I didn't give service full stars because there can be a bit of a wait for food to come out, and taking a bit of time, even though the place wasn't that busy. This is more a kitchen issue not about the waiting staff. But overall it's great and we will eat there again."

"Mussels were incredible, possibly the best I've ever had. Was very quiet when we visited but that didn't detract from the experience, friendly and attentive service and was great to watch the sun rain and wind travel over from the Isle of Arran"

"Excellent. Warm vibe, neat, clean as to be expected, but not so much that it feels too formal. Recommend the signature burger; too notch. Good wine options. Service was excellent, super friendly host—was a bit late on one of the meals and went out of their way to accommodate. Will absolutely go again."

"Called in with no prior booking and we were able to be seated by a very pleasant young man. I had the monkfish with garlic baby potatoes. The fish was cooked to perfection, and yes, I was aware that it would take a while to cook, as it should be prepped and cooked from scratch."

"Dined at The View on Saturday evening - extensive menu, delivering excellent choice for everyone in the party. The service was very professional and engaging. Food presentation was perfect. All in all an outstanding evening out. As far as atmosphere, the restaurant was not packed that evening, but the view is amazing - looking out towards Arran and the Firth of Clyde"

"Lovely place,excellent service and well served foods. Views are Lovely and not as busy as bigger places so will defenetly appeal to some people. Great choices of food. Ice in all water at table would be better, especially in the hot weather."
